April 27, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. “Potentially Inappropriate Medications for the 65+ Population,” a panel of pharmacists will explain what medications have been studied and found to be “Potentially Inappropriate Medications” (PIMs) for most older people – and why. The Alzheimer’s Association – NW Ohio will present a visual tour of a healthy brain and how the brain changes with Alzheimer’s disease. This will be followed by an introductory discussion of what families ought to know when living with Alzheimer’s disease. Dakota Stone, Alzheimer’s Association – N.W. Ohio Chapter.
