Meet Linda:
She Gives Her Skills to Coordinate Trips
Linda responded to an appeal that we made in our
2008 newsletter - “The Elder-Gazette”. The appeal
said we needed a volunteer who is willing to talk

every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 am –

DQG KDV JUHDW SHRSOH VNLOOV 6KH DOZD\V WHOOV XV
“You do more for me than I do for you.” Everyone
at Serving Our Seniors disagrees. Linda lightens
our load tremendously! She has been heaven-

this would be seen as a reason as to why one can’t
make a commitment to volunteer. Not for Linda!
If you need a ride to an out-of-town health care

who calls the various volunteers to see who is
available to drive on that particular date and time.
Then she schedules and coordinates the trip.
