Chronological age is not a disease or a sickness. It’s just a number. Feelings are frequently and erroneously attributed to age. Are you finding as you develop in age that you are experiencing things like worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating or difficulty falling asleep? There are causes for each of these. The cause is not your age. Are you losing interest in things that you use to enjoy doing? Have you noticed episodes of tearfulness or other uncontrolled emotions? Do you have feelings of hopelessness or are you irritable? These feelings aren’t caused by older age, either. If advancing age is not the cause for these feelings, what else could it be? We are glad you asked! Dr. Linda Tremp Waters, PhD, will be explaining the real source for these feelings and why it is not normal aging. She will be addressing questions from the audience and talking in a way that is easy to understand. Mark your calendar and attend That’s Not Normal Aging: Why I Feel Irritable and On Edge, January 23, 2023, 1pm – 2:30pm, Erie County Office Building, 3rd Floor (downtown) 247 Columbus Ave. – Sandusky.
