Remember Noah’s Arc was built by volunteers, the Titanic by professionals.” Serving Our Seniors relies on a great bunch of volunteers for a number of services and programs, including our Board of Trustees, committee members, special event organizers and performers, Home Delivered Meals drivers, Out of Town transportation coordination and drivers, Medicare Counselors, speakers at Public Forums, and Community Service volunteers. We couldn’t do all that we do without our volunteers and we are always looking for those with time and talent to share. Currently, we are recruiting 20 volunteers for our Out of Town Transportation program. Would you help us by giving 1 day per month to drive a senior citizen to a health care appointment located in Cleveland or Toledo? • You pick the day when you want to drive each month. • You won’t be asked to volunteer more often than you wish to drive. • No weekends or holidays. • Serving Our Seniors provides the vehicle for you. • Last, but most important…You will make a real difference in the life of another who needs your help.
