On Oct. 28, 2023, President, Darlene Walk presented me with the award. I was speechless with gratitude. Thank you! In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2024, our cover story is a local, love story about Rev. Tom and Diane Hayes. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as enjoyed the interview. Serving Our Seniors partnership with the Cleveland Clinic and its Successful Aging Program is expanding. Check out your peers, (pg. 7), who recently took advantage of this healthy aging service. On page 9 and 11 you will meet our two, new, co-workers at Serving Our Seniors. On page 16 is the announcement of Serving Our Seniors Spring Show/Fundraiser – American Bandstand! We removed the Calendar of Events page, from the magazine. We found it is the articles that cause people to attend our forums. It is not the Calendar of Events. As always, if you enjoy receiving the Magazine, please thank the businesses advertising in this issue. Each one has helped us to defray the costs to print and mail the magazine to your home/apartment. Happy New Year, Sue Daugherty Sue Daugherty, Director and Darlene Walk, President 3
