Margaretta High Graduate, Bree Gilliam, is the “Digital Divide Trainer” for Serving Our Seniors. Her role is to close the knowledge gap between retirees and the age of information technology. She is holding classes at the Vermilion Library and Sandusky Library. She is actively recruiting retirees to sign up for the classes at the Sandusky Library, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Aug. 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2022. %UHH JLYHV RQH RQ RQH WXWRULQJ DW 6HUYLQJ 2XU 6HQLRUV RI¿FH RU DW WKH &ROG Creek Coffee Shop. She stopped by the Margaretta Township Trustee Meeting to let the community leaders know she is offering tutoring at The Cold Creek Coffee Shop, 119 Main Street, Castalia. They agreed to help spread the news. Bree has the time and the patience to tutor at your own pace . She makes it enjoyable to learn. Here are some examples of what she can help you learn: • Grocery shopping online • Things you didn’t know about your laptop • How to prevent a cyber attack • Getting health care test results online • When an e-mail is a scam • What not to share on social media • Communicating with friends and family by ZOOM or Microsoft Teams • And more … To reserve a seat for Digital Divide Training, call Serving Our Seniors at 419- 624-1856 and ask for Bree.
