Perkins Avenue Bodacious Birthdays Charlie Lindecamp, Retired Berlin- Milan School Superintendent, turned 103 in March 2022. His granddaughter, Heather Lindecamp, threw him a birthday bash. Heather shared a distinctive quality about Charlie. She said, “He told me this…. ‘Never take sole credit for accomplishments. When recognized, never say I. Say we. However, if something does not go well, always take sole credit and say I made a mistake.’ Joyce Bretz turned 92 in April 2022. Joyce lives with her daughter and son-in-law Pam and Tim Hall. To celebrate, Pam made her Mom a Black Forest birthday cake. I asked Pam about her Mom’s distinctive qualities. Ken Wood, 73 , Sandusky resident, was inducted, on April 9, 2022, into the Sandusky U.S. Bowling Congress Hall of Fame. Recognized as an exceptional bowler at an awards ceremony, he received a plaque to commemorate his Sandusky USBC Hall of Fame induction and a Meritorious Service Award. Congratulations, Ken! We are proud to tell our readers that Ken is also a Trustee on Serving Our Seniors Board; and the Chair of Serving Our Seniors Nominating & Development Committee, for the Board of Trustees. He is also a volunteer driver for Serving Our Seniors Out of Town Transportation Program.
