46 senior citizens obtain free medications from the
manufacturer each month; an average of 33 senior citizens /
month received 928 prescriptions for the year, dispensed by
the Drug Repository Program at the cost of $9.99 to $19.99

Serving Our Seniors - Alzheimers’ Partnership Project.
40 individuals attended “Chat With Brenda”, an informal
conversation with gerontologist, Brenda Hendricks,
Alzhiemer’s Assoc. – NW Ohio Chapter, about memory
changes, memory loss and aging. 3 to 9 people affected
with memory loss attended “Transitions” each month –
a socially interactive group for those who accept their
diagnosis. 12 Private Counseling Appointments with
gerontologist, Brenda Hendricks with those affected with
memory loss and/or the family members of the affected
p

rso
n.
Rural Home Delivered Meal Program.

Seniors funded the delivery of 21,385 meals delivered to an
average of 92 rural older adults in Erie County.

Out of Town Medical Transportation Program.
365 trips
to help 144 seniors get to medically necessary health care
appointments located out of town (Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus,
etc.). All trips were driven by volunteers, (except in cases
where a certified wheelchair transport trainer was needed) who
donated 1,597.5 hours of service and drove 33,553 miles.
