Everyone benefits from a compassionate community. Sandusky
High School’s Digital Academy students participated in a “Project
Based Learning” assignment proposed by Serving Our Seniors. The
assignment required the students to create a message in a format that
would interest teenagers. The message would be used to help Serving
Our Seniors create a social movement to make their community a
compassionate community.
Brayden Streng, a student at Sandusky High Digital Academy and
an accomplished tennis athlete, was selected as the winner of the
“Compassionate Community” project assignment. He was awarded
$100.00 for creating a social media message that Serving Our Seniors
will use to reach Sandusky teens next school year. The goal is to get
Sandusky high school students to start a movement to make Sandusky
a compassionate community.
