On January 8, 2016 I lost
my mom to lung cancer. She
volunteered for Serving Our
Seniors by calling people,
to help the Senior Advocate
Assistants stay in touch with
people who have called our
office in the past. She also
volunteered to be in our first “Calendar
Girls Calendar” in 2013. She is missed.
Despite her physical absence, her
kindness lives on… She donated her
car to Serving Our Seniors for the Out
of Town Transportation Program. This
is the second donated car
that we have received for
this cause. We are grateful
for it!
Only with the support
of planned, charitable
donations can Serving
Our Seniors continue to
make Erie County a compassionate
community for aging independently.
